The transparent acrylic lid on our unit serves two purposes. The primary function is to view the product during operations. The DZ-280 is equipped with a massive 8mm heat strip, otherwise known as seal wire. Typically speaking, vacuum chambers are paired with an additional heat strip in their seal bar assembly. We wanted to reduce heat strip changeover times and grant extra insurance in the seal integrity.
